The Moray Flying Club is a Tri-Service facility for Army as well as Navy with most members being RAF, we are a registered training facility for both the EASA Private Pilots Licence and associated ratings (Night, IMC) and the National Private Pilots Licence. It is also an ENHANCED LEARNING CREDIT APPROVED TRAINING PROVIDER for both full and part time courses. It is here to ensure Service Personnel have the opportunity to learn to fly and enjoy their license once issued.
Membership is available for Associates (i.e. those not in the Services) and they are made most welcome as they help to keep the club going when all the service personnel are away on detachments! We encourage both training and touring and have two full time and five local part time Instructors (both Civilian and Service) and an in house Examiner available, giving full time cover to the flying program. We operate a first come first served policy on bookings which are always "subject to weather" and we keep a reserve booking system, in case anyone cancels their flight.
Many members fly for fun and others are aiming at a flying career, so there is always a club member to share your thoughts and career moves with.
See the Moray Flying Club website for detailed information on the cost of courses and aircraft hire. Associates pay slightly higher rates www.morayflyingclub.com
