Bertie joins RAF Flying Clubs Pilot Corporal Tidy on Breathtaking Flight
One of the lucky Junior Rank Pilot Scholarship Scheme winners of 2017 has successfully passed her skills test and earned herself a pilot’s licence. Thanks to the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust http://www.airtattoo.com for providing such an incredible opportunity to Junior Ranks and the RAF Flying Clubs.
Corporal Lauren Tidy was joined in the cockpit by The RAF Association’s Bertie “The Befriender Bear” during her pilot skills test. We are very proud to say, since Bertie was along for the ride, that he was the first to congratulate her on this incredible lifetime achievement. Bertie spent a few days flying with Corporal Tidy, experiencing breathtaking sights and meeting new people at different airfields across England.
Bertie is a bear who loves travelling. He has unlimited access to adventures and reports back on his experiences on his blog.
